This is the kitchen. It's where I write most often in one or the other of the mismatched chairs. The pic of the backyard is here (kind of lopsided) but it's the front half of the backyard. There on the right is the raised bed I built yesterday and behind that is where the compost will go. The rest just looks like a kid's yard... which it is.

Below are photos of the recently created stone walkway. We were able to use the stone resources in our yard to build it. The other is the stone firepit we built last year of limestone we found buried in the yard. Once the trees and the vines grow out to camoflague it somewhat from the neighbors, I'll sleep out there on warm Summer nights. The kids sometimes join me and the mosquitoes definitely do.
