Daisy Biscuits
2 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 cup of beef broth
1/2 cup of milk
1/4 cup bacon grease
1/2 cup shredded carrots
Stir together ingredients, and then, roll out about 1/16 of an inch thick. Use cookie cutters and bake in a 350F oven for 25 minutes.
The dog who lives here and being called "Daisy" loves the dough, but won't eat the hard biscuits. She is SUPER lazy right now and doesn't like to crunch. But the other neighborhood dogs like them; and unfortunately, since I fed them, they also like me. I suppose they assume I'm a dog person now.

You know, my dog is picky, too. I'll even give her a beef bone (which she used to love) and now she'll just look at it. Weird. I don't know if I should try the biscuits or not.
I'm laughing. What a goof ball, I am. When I first started reading the ingredients - flax seed, whole wheat flour - I thought to myself that my husband would like this healthy treat. Then the dawn arrived. LOL
My dog ain't picky at all. He'd woof those biscuits in a Chicago second.
Hm, are those the cookies you had me send to the troops in Iraq? It would explain a few things.
