Ok, I'm going to keep track of my garden this year and see how it decides to flourish... if it decides to flourish. I had a flourishing garden once a few years ago and it was HUGE, I made the back yard to look like a cottage garden with all kinds of plants and sunflowers, pumpkins and vegetables ~ and one day some kind of mold blew in and turned in all white, it disintegrated in like 3 days. So this raised bed is small and modest but I did put my crucifixes out in the forms of fences, bricks, cages and marigolds to repel the vampire bunnies.
In the bed are tomatoes, peppers, bunching onions, english cukes, and snow peas. And Sunflowers which I'll plant some pink morning glory around next week ~ they like to wind their vines around the stalks and climb to the Sun's face.
Just this one patch of the backyard gets any sun ~ about 8 hours a day. I hope that's enough :).

Very nice! I love a clean slate garden. Mine will be totally clean slate this year, starting with the dirt. It turned into a cat box over the winter. :(
And I love your flowers in the most recent post. Peonies?
