Later on Halloween (yes Halloween is over tomorrow so I won't be using it in my title after tonight.)

(whispering) i'm not supposed to be on here, but the ol' ball and chain is upstairs playing playstation ~ cussing at it like a freakin'... i dunno .. listen, he yells at the football players like they are real people. i say, "don't you control them?"

he replies without looking away from the screen, "yes."

"why do you yell at them..." i ask.

he says, still not looking away but raising his voice to almost hysteria, "didn't you see how number 47 blocked that punt pass...?!"

.....picture me stoic here.......

o.k. well, anyhoo, i found treasures at the thrift store, absolute tresures. i found a bright red frilly shower curtain that i used as a skirt and this amazing white shirt with a built in tank top. i used a little girls velvet shirt cut in half as a bodice, stuck a butter knife in it and went as a wench for royce's pirate costume. i was dismayed when neighbor matt was checking him out, but his hairy chest looked really good in the striped shirt i found for him. i don't get jealous of matt looking at him, i'm just a baby and want everyone to look at me.

we had so much fun. one day i will write essay after essay of my neighborhood ~ stories galore that must be told... well, neighbor mimi (aforementioned amy) took pics of all of us and if my eyes aren't closed in the photo I will post one here tomorr-y.
