DNA (and this is Thursday, btw)

We were waiting for Lea this early morning while the dentist hammered away at her little teeth where some gremlins left tiny little pock marks and holes...

Steven and I were laying slumped on the couch there in the waiting room kinda leaning on each other for support and this was the sleepy conversation:

'I think I might have T-Rex DNA.'

'Oh really?'

'Yeah.'

(Silence for a few minutes)

(He shifted, his coat made the muffled zippy sound that down stuffed nylon makes, and he looked at me):

'If I don't have T-Rex DNA do you think I could ask a scientist for some? Like to inject into me?'

'I dunno Buddy. I think they might have a moral dilemma with that.' (yawn)

'Sooo. What about Velociraptor DNA? Then I could beat Lea in race...'

'Mmmm, maybe... '(my eyes felt like two velociraptors were sitting on them. Sooo tired...)

Steven laid back and sighed, and I go, 'What..?'

'That would prob'ly be cheating....'

'What babe..?'

'Having Velociraptor DNA injected into me and beating Lea in a race.'

'Hmmmm...'

'And' (he grabbed his shoe here and looked at the bottom of it) 'besides, I'd have to have them make me really big shoes...."
