How to open an old blog: try all the emails you think you've used since 1997, plug in a random password and cross your fingers. I really can't believe it eventually worked. It turned out too easy really... after several different tries, there wasn't much magic to it at all. I used the email I still use and used the password I used most often back then. I thought I wouldn't be able to get in, but look at me, here I am. Nothing is ever as hard as we make it. After all I'm still the same person, my algorithms haven't changed that much, even though I think they have in many ways. But I eventually just used the email I use now. I used a simple password that's lived with me for 2 decades. Keep it simple, you'll get in. The mantra of the day.

I'm in a different line of work now in a different town. I'm still in a family business (with my brother), but no longer working day to day with my husband. He has a different job, too. We're both working for a paycheck now...

I don't think I want to rehash the past of selling the business, what we did with the year afterward, all that happened. Going back isn't really what I feel I want to spend time writing about. Now here's the thing, I don't know what I want to spend time writing about, but I know I want to write. Maybe just to fuckin write, maybe just that.
