Friday (a new one)

I listen to the wind to the wind of my soul
Where I'll end up well I think, only God really knows
I've sat upon the setting sun
But never, never never never
I never wanted water once
No, never, never, never
I listen to my words but they fall far below
I let my music take me where my heart wants to go
I swam upon the devil's lake
But never, never never never
I'll never make the same mistake
No, never, never, never

Cat Stevens and Georgia O'Keefe today.

I wonder what mistake that was. Perhaps people are meant to make the same mistake over and over again, getting better at it all the time. Until they learn how to make it in the right way and suddenly it's not a mistake anymore.

Hi, it's sort of tongue in cheek. I was going to write about it later in a blog how we say "never, never" which really creates new scenarios for us to "always, always." I like the song very much because it has a childlike feel to the tune, and that is such a childlike thing to say "never, never;" it's endearing.
miss you already.
